Case: Two Power Point Presentations, oral presentations were done by Health and Social Care teacher in a multicultural class.
Topics: 1. How communication skills are used in health and social care production contexts; 2. Apply relevant theories of communication to health and social care contexts.
Teacher is from Europe. Students are mostly Africans, Asian, and European. The Power Point Presentation technically was the best in a group. Improve areas was mentioned such as language barrier e.g. English as a second language. Please, mention it.
Under task “teaching” : Do not forget how you met the needs of 3 contrasting learners – 2 needs and 1 on learning style. 2 cases were mentioned in oral presentation: Dyslexia and visual impairment. Please, that two cases definitely use them as examples.
