This module will be assessed by an individual project which will comprise 100% of the marks for this module.
Question
Choose two issues related to real estate law. One relating to property law (including leases), and one further issue relating to the following:
(1) Tort law
(2) Contract law
(3) European law
Students will then write a discursive essay relating to those two issues. These issues may be related or they may approached as two individual pieces of work.
(NB If you chose leases as these relate to both property and contract law you can choose a single topic to focus on)
Students will be expected to present their work well, using appropriate professional language. Marks will be given for a coherence of the work with a clear narrative linking the work together and thoughtful introductions and conclusions which demonstrate a good understanding of the subject matter and reflection on practice. Students are expected to conduct some research using library facilities.
