SECTION A (ASSIGNMENT 1 RESIT)
The proposals currently being considered by your client are at an early stage. Before determining the full extent of the opportunities for redeveloping the building, the client needs your advice.
Concerns have been raised that the historic nature of the building will affect the viability of any proposals to refurbish or adapt the building. Explain the problems associated with developing historic buildings and the impact they are likely to have on this project.
SECTION B (ASSIGNMENT 2 RESIT)
Proposals for conversion of the building are now being developed.
You are required to complete the following task for your resit. Please refer to the Preamble (paper 1127) for this task.
To a scale of 1:100, provide existing and proposed ground floor and first floor general arrangement plans, ensuring that you are working within the constraints of the Preamble (Paper 1127). Plans should include annotation on compliance with the Building Regulations.
Include a written introduction to your drawings to describe the accommodation and the facilities to be provided. Also include an accommodation schedule with floor areas. You should also detail any assumptions made.
