For the purposes of this assignment, the criminal justice system refers to the police, probation service and secure estate. You must cover at least one of these in your essay. You can, however, choose to cover more than one.
You must choose only one of the contemporary issues: choose either youth, race or gender.
The essay question is asking you to critically discuss the effectiveness of the criminal justice system. Remember, you must be critical in your essay if you want to do well in the assignment. Submission details:
