Age
We have one missing data point shown in table below. Remember that we decided to combine the 18 – 25 age group with the 26 – 35 age group with a group size of 30 plus a general requirement for conducting statistical analysis.

New Table for Age (note that the 36 – 45 age group is slightly below 30 but we shall accept that. So we now have two groups: 35 and under (Group1) and 36 and over (Group2).

Gender
Remember we have the ethical rather than statistical issue in this variable. We cannot do what we did with age (combining groups) as there is an ethical issue in doing that in this case. In Australia we seek to be inclusive and therefore the one individual who identified as neither male/female needs to be considered. We decided that we would analyse male/female, but acknowledge the non-binary/third gender person individually (but not cite the scores, only how close they are to the two groups). This is to additionally preserve that person’s anonymity.
For those of you interested in reading more about this aspect I have found the following reference (not essential to read, but it is quite interesting).
Cameron, J. J., & Stinson, D. A. (2019). Gender (mis)measurement: Guidelines for
respecting gender diversity in psychological research, Social and Personality Psychology Compass, 13(11), e12506, 14 pages, doi:10.1111/spc3.12056

Work
The original distribution had four groups but two groups had small numbers. The decision was made to combine Early childhood with Primary school educators and also to combine adult educators with high school educators. This results in two groups.
