1) Identify the sectors that are recognised as the hospitality industry (30%).
2) Focussing on one specific sector (Hotel sector), explore the factors that go to make-up the sector. (70%).
It is expected that your answer for part 2 would include:
• Number of establishments in the UK
• Contribution to the UK economy
• Recognise leading brands (these could be global, national or local to a specific town)
• Numbers employed in the sector
• Types of jobs available and qualification requirements
