It undertakes most of the body functions, acting as a control center much as a processor is to a computer. The brain together with the spinal cord links up the entire tissues in the body through the nervous system for the aim of controlling our sensory, cognitive, emotional, physical, and motor abilities. Many psychologists and scientists have tried to explain the working of the brain and its link to spirituality.
