Assignment
Identify a specific product that has at least ten separate components. Strip the product down and illustrate each component. Identify its material and the piece-part production process(es) including any finishes required before it is assembled. Identify the assembly process for the product as a whole, showing the sequence where each of the ten parts needs to be fitted and suggest suitable production methods for the assembly process. Identify possible ways that each of the components might be reused, recycled or otherwise disposed of, including what you perceive as its final end-of-life scenario. Discuss the various options and possibilities including design changes that might be used to prolong the life of each component. Ensure that you include discussions about maintaining or improving quality and the use of standards during your discussions.

Note on product choice.
It is fairly obvious that the product you choose needs to be one that you are confident does not need to be used again, unless you have confidence in your ability to put it back together as you found it.
Choice of an incorrect or unsuitable product will limit your marks.
The maximum size of the document to be produced is 10 sides (apart from any header pages and the references) Further pages will be ignored.
