Scenario  

The customer sends its wigits to a plating company to have them chrome plated. The plating company plates the chromium on the wigits then returns the plated wigits to the customer.  

The customer is then invoiced for the plating operation. The plating company maintains procedures for receiving inspection of the plating of raw materials, excluding these wigits. The wigits are considered to be the customer’s responsibility.
