An illustrated reflective diary that focusses on creative representations of perceptions, constructs, philosophies and theories of children and childhood.
Criteria for Assessment
The assignment will be assessed according to the Learning Outcomes for the unit:
LO 1. Create arts-informed representations of perspectives and constructs of children, childhood and adult-child relationships;
LO 2. Analyse philosophies and theories which inform the field of early childhood education and care;
LO 3. Describe the differing historical and contemporary perspectives of early childhood education and care; and,
LO 4. Demonstrate professional standards of communication and literacy using language and expository skills acquired within the unit;
