Dotted My i’s, But No Time To Cross The t’s

When I was a KG student, my parents coaxed me and said that this is the most crucial time of your life, and putting backbreaking will ensure a great future. They say the grass is greener on the other side, but who knows what is waiting for us in the coming future. When I stepped into the college life, like every other student I found myself juggling my academic and social life, as my schedule got far tougher than ever before. When I crossed my I’s, my T’s stay uncrossed and vice versa.

Well, this is the story of every student and as competition has been rising in the field of academia, the pressure on the students is also building up exponentially. This jeopardizes student’s academic objectives. Things get worse when you get bad habits that can affect your productivity, such as deferment. It’s quite hard to keep your studies and social life in equilibrium.

But! Nothing is impossible in this world and all you need is a bit of time management. Discussed below are some of the tips that will help you

Task Management

You might have bombarded with dozens of tasks, but what you need to do is to manage the tasks as per their priority. The main tasks that prevent us—being students—from being productive is synchronizing with researching, assignment writing and preparing for exams. You should make a to-do list and number all the tasks that are required to be done. Finish that task first you find most daunting.

Look Ahead Before Act

Once you made the to-do list, you need to be clear about your task. Plan what you need to do first, what commitments are there to fulfill, how soon you can complete a task. Try your hardest to finish your tasks as soon as possible. Divide the lengthy task into chunks of mini tasks.

Set Your Priorities

As mentioned before, prioritizing your tasks is extremely necessary to keep up your academic performance high. Depending on your nature, stay ready about negative results. You can also increase your productivity by considering the rewards that you are going to get in the future, which may be in the form of good grades and an impressive company.

Don’t Panic

Sometimes a great amount of your time is wasted in getting stressed out about a particular task, even when you have not started it. If you have extended tasks waiting for you in a line and you do not have time even for scratching your head, give yourself a favor by taking short breaks. The less daunting you feel about a certain task, the more interesting and easier that task will be.
