Marketing and Communication, is all about experimenting, exploring, and demonstrating marketing strategies that are essential for students during their higher education years. Being able to process information and present it using marketing terminology (whether orally or written) is a highlight of this course.
Students will be guided to interpret information and use what is required to portray it using real life situations. Teamwork and group activities are part of this course as students will come across cross cultural perspectives, approaches and different ways of doing dealing with situations in the service sector. In addition, the Marketing and Communication course will expose students to various strategies and techniques on how to handle different groupwork situations and be able to reflect on learnt theories and marketing topics in class.
The objectives of this course are to provide the following:
• The foundational and principles of marketing.
• Marketing research analysis using research methodology and data analysis.
• How to prepare a ‘real life’ Marketing campaign.
• Be proactive to get the necessary data and apply the different models and theories.
Marketing Communication is essential and challenging part of a company’s marketing efforts. Communication works to tell the story of a brand, while marketing does the advertising for it. The course aims to engage students in understanding market research and market data analysis, channels, and tools to communicate with the markets for brand awareness, sales, advertising, and promotion.
