Working in groups of four or five, you are required to produce and present a 10-minute analysis during the week 9 seminar using PowerPoint for your chosen company, from the perspective of EITHER:

Current and potential shareholders

Lenders, Trade Creditors and Employees
For companies to analyse, you can select ONE from the following:

Baladna
•
Salam International
•
Woqod
•
Zad Holding Company
The seminar during Week 8 is for support with analysing your chosen company accounts and producing your presentation. If you do not attend the seminar in week 8, the module leader will allocate you to a group and let you know the accounts to be studied and tell you from which viewpoint you have to investigate the company.
The first slide of your presentation should include the student numbers and names of the members of your group. Your presentation must include Harvard referenced slides with a reference list included.
In addition, you must include at least one slide which analyses how the company of your choice is tackling sustainability and the environment.
You will be given a mark based upon:

Relevance of the ratios chosen
•
Accuracy of ratios
•
Conclusions drawn
•
Presentation and group working skills
The Power Point presentation plus any paperwork showing your calculations and brief findings must be emailed to the seminar lecturer prior to the start of the Week 9 seminar. In addition, you must each submit a paragraph describing the contribution of each group member. This may be sent confidentially by e-mail to your seminar tutor if required.
