General Information
The purpose of this assignment is to prepare a 1000 words report that will detail comparison and contrast between two cloud service providers and their services. By doing this assignment, you will acquire good understanding of available cloud service providers and their services which will help you to determine appropriate services for developing an smart application.
What do you need to do?
- The assignment require you to do the following -
- Investigate and identify all the available cloud service providers and list them.
- Select one of the cloud service providers from your list and learn about the services it provides. If necessary, create a trial account and use all the different services it offers. Take screenshots to record some of those services while using them.
- Compare and contrast between Bluemix (used in this course) and the cloud service provider you have chosen.
What do you need to submit?
You are required to submit a written report in a single Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) document. The report should contain 1000 words excluding references with ±100 words slack. The report must contain following sections (and feel free to add one or more sections if necessary):
- Cover page/title page, Table of contents and abstract
- Introduction
- Cloud service providers
- List all identified cloud providers and their cloud service Models
- Select a service provider out of the list to compare with Bluemix and write two reasons to justify your choice
- Comparison and contrast with Bluemix – this is the body of the report and should be written as detail as possible. You can include screenshots and other media (you are not allowed to use screenshots and media content from internet) to enrich your report. This section must have comparison and contrast between Bluemix and your chosen service provider for followings:
- cloud service Models
- cloud services offered under each model
- Services offered for smart application development such as Internet of Things (IoT) application, Artificial Intelligent (AI) application and so on.
- Platform design, navigation, application develop and deployment process
- Cost model for different type of users
- Your opinion
- Based on your analysis and overall assessment, among two, which cloud service provider perform better?
- Give detail explanation, why do you think it is the better service provider among two.
