Assignment 1 comprises of an individual essay to critically discuss the application and integration of ethics in the development of Employment law. It is designed to meet Module Learning Outcomes 1 and 2 which are:
- Critically discuss the role of ethics in the formation, interpretation and application of employment law.
- Evidence knowledge and critical understanding of the international and national legal framework and regulation which impacts the employment relationship.
Students should address these learning outcomes in their answer to the question.
Question:
From both theoretical and international/national stakeholder perspectives critically discuss the ethical and practical implications of the Strikes (minimum service levels) Act 2023
The essay must be evidenced by a critical analysis of the legislative scrutiny of the Strikes (minimum service levels) Act 2023 which includes (1) Reports, special and government responses (2) Oral evidence transcripts and (3) Written evidence.
