EDUCATION LAW: ZERO TOLERANCE DISCIPLINE POLICY By Institution Education Law: Zero Tolerance Discipline Policy This is a study of zero tolerance laws in selected public educational institutions. Step One: Some of the zero tolerance laws as highlighted in the policy of University of California Riverside, that govern students conduct include laws against forgery, drug abuse, weapons and explosives, harassment and physical abuse. The policy states; “Chancellors may impose discipline for the commission or attempted commission (including aiding or abetting in the commission or attempted commission) of the following types of violations by students, as well as such other vio
