Purpose and Focus:
The purpose of the group project report is to provide students with an opportunity to apply
theoretical concepts to a real-world HR problem within an organization. This assessment aims to
deepen students` understanding of how AI can be used to address specific HR-related challenges.
By identifying an existing HR issue and proposing an AI-driven solution, students will
demonstrate their ability to critically analyze HR problems, evaluate possible solutions, and
apply AI technologies effectively. The groups should be no more than 5 students in each
group.
The focus of the report should be on the critical analysis of the HR problem and the suitability
of an AI-driven solution to address it. This involves:
• Identifying and clearly articulating a specific HR-related problem within an organization.
• Providing evidence that the problem exists, using data from the organization or other
reliable sources.
• Proposing an AI-driven solution, supported by industry examples and academic literature.
• Critically evaluating the benefits and limitations of the proposed solution, considering the
context of the organization.
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of the practical and theoretical implications of
implementing AI in HR.
This assessment encourages students to bridge the gap between theory and practice by engaging
with real-world data and applying AI-driven solutions. It also aims to develop key skills in

Report Structure:

organization. Clearly articulate why this problem is significant and needs to be addressed.

Evidence from the Organization: Gather secondary data (e.g., internal reports, publicly
available data) that supports the existence of the HR problem. If students wish to include primary
data (e.g., interviews or surveys), it is acceptable.
• Indicators and Symptoms: Describe the indicators or symptoms that point to the HR
issue. Use data, statistics, or qualitative information to support your claims.
3. AI-Driven Solution Identification (500-600 words)
• Solution Overview: Identify an AI-driven solution that can address the HR problem.
Provide a clear description of the solution and how it is expected to resolve the identified
issue.
• Industry Examples: Include at least two real-world examples from industry where
