The report will identify, explain, and evaluate the most influential external environment factors that are impacting upon and affecting the management, operation, and performance of organisations in an industry of your choice.
Analytical frameworks to apply:

PESTLE (macro environment factors) is the key one to use in this report and will help you create an effective structure to the analysis.
•
You may also need to refer to or apply: Stakeholder analysis and/or micro-environment analysis (e.g., competition) to make effective explanations, examples, and analyses.
Choose an industry and ensure you can define it effectively and clearly and identify some relevant organisations. For a higher grade, make sure you identify and provide examples of the types (public, private, voluntary) of organisations which are in it.

Ensure you use the report format and structure as show below.

For higher marks you must do more than describe an external environmental factor. You must explain it, evaluate the way if affects an industry and provide evidence of its impact or significance. This means you need to include applied examples from different organisations within the actual industry.

You must provide supporting evidence for your evaluations, examples, analyses and academic content. This will need to be referenced using the Harvard Referencing style. Citations will be in the text (in the report) and a list of references will be provided at the end. This is a reference list or bibliography.

Communicate in a written report form with clarity of expression. Therefore, make effective use of grammar, punctuation, and accurate spelling.
•
To demonstrate your satisfactory research and information gathering skills and choice of suitable of information and academic content, you will include a minimum of five appropriate sources.
