processes. Various training initiatives including Carbon Literacy Training have been identified
as necessary tools to drive the change. You have been appointed by your GMD to lead the
project team and develop the schedule plan for the Training Rollout Initiative.
Using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), you have identified the tasks required to
complete the Stage 1 (Project Initiation) and created the Activity Table below.
Using the precedence network diagram and critical path method, determine the duration and
the critical path for the schedule.
1) Draw a network diagram. Draw the diagram using ‘tasks-on-nodes’ notifications (as
shown below).
Calculate Early Start (ES), Early Finish (EF), Late Start (LS), Late Finish (LF) and
Total Float (TF) for each task.
