Part 1- Case Study (800 words | Mark 30% | LO: 2)

You should write 800 words describing the use and impact of Cloud Computing for the company of your choice, which can be selected from the given list. Ensure the task’s requirements are met and explained well, considering the logical order and interconnections. Format your text following the guidelines below. This part will be written in text format in MS Word. However, you can also include your findings in the format of charts, graphs, etc. (Mark 30%)

    Report Writing Guidelines (800 words):

     

    1. Brief Introduction: Start with a brief introduction to the chosen organisation. Provide some background information, such as its industry, size, and core operations. Explain why you selected this particular company.  
    2. Cloud File Sharing Implementation: Analyse the organisation`s approach to cloud-based file sharing. Evaluate the chosen cloud storage platform`s features and impact. Discuss challenges faced during implementation and mitigation strategies. 
    3. Collaborative Working Tools: Investigate the collaborative working tools used by the organisation. Assess the impact on communication, project management, and overall collaboration. Highlight success stories or improvements from collaborative tools. 
    4. Security Measures: Examine the security measures implemented to protect sensitive data in the cloud. Discuss security concerns encountered and how they were addressed. Provide recommendations for enhancing data security. 
    5. Outcomes and Business Impact: Summarise the outcomes and business impact of adopting cloud-based tools. Quantify improvements in efficiency, cost savings, or other relevant metrics. Relate outcomes to the organisation`s overall business goals. 

     

    Part 2- Poster (600 words | Mark 30% | LO: 1 and 4) 

     

    You should create an informative poster, equivalent to 600 words, about IT security for the audience at GBS, including possible future students, current students, teachers, and management staff. You can use MS PowerPoint to create the poster. The poster needs to be added underneath Part 1 on the same file. 

    Poster Requirements: 

    • Craft a compelling title for the poster. 
    • Include 300 words of content. 
    • Compromised of graphics and approximately 300 Words (visuals, tables, and charts)
