Students will learn about the current skill requirements for employees, the difficulties in finding adequately skilled employees, and how this affects business growth. This unit will assist students in investigating the external factors that influence the hospitality industry, as well as in developing an understanding of what drives supply and demand for hospitality products and services. Furthermore, students will be able to apply this knowledge. Further to that, students will be able to apply this knowledge to identify and capitalise on potential trends and developments.
