This module provides an introduction to the core concepts, policy challenges and ethical issues in Sustainable Development. It is aimed at a wide range of learners and provides a grounding in sustainability ideas and issues that is self-contained but also prepares students for getting the best from the complementary strategies of making organisations sustainable

1. Develop a critical understanding on the definitions of sustainability and its impact on creating long term competitive advantages for organisations
2. Critically evaluate roles and responsibilities of sustainable strategic managers and how to apply tools of strategic business management to problems of sustainability.
3.Negotiate, influence, and agree roles and rewards within founder teams in entrepreneurial and business settings, doing so in a legitimate ethical manner.
